The usual PayPal and bank scammers are almost ALL from India. The romance scammers are Nigerian. Why doesn’t our legal system do something about these countries stealing from us?
People gotta speak up! Call the news!!
All of the information the scammer new was all public knowledge and public records
ALWAYS call your bank immediately after a call like this. Never just trust someone that calls you. I had a scammer even call me stupid for not letting him help me. Nope. I hung up and called my bank
ABC IS HIDING RED FLAG BANK RECORDS FROM CHINA TO THE BIDEN SHELL COMPANIES ‼️
If they have an Indian accent – hang up.
scammers are wildin nowadays.
They get a fake ID with ur name on it. Hijack ur cellphone by getting a new sim card from verizon. Walk into the bank and str8 up withdraw the money at the teller.
Phone numbers, calls, texting and messaging can be more sophisticated.
whats so fustrating is you guys are not telling the full story. Its the banks that sell the client's information to these organizations that later sell that information to scammers.
Ever wondered how Chase is always the target in every court case? They're not the victims. And I say this confidently because, if i was a bank losing money every year, I would do just that. And its perfectly legal. I can own a Banks who will just give you 50 dollars, 500 dollars, or even 1,000 dollars if you sign up with my bank. How do I pay my employees? With the information I got from my client when they signed the form that they blindly agreed to. The fancy words will confuse you but, I can sell your info to other organizations, and I will make money, now what that organization does with that info, I don't care, I'm rich.
Oh wow we gotta stop being this dumb.
I had experienced a call claiming fraud that came from my actual banks number. I told the caller respectfully that I was going to hang up and call back my bank. The caller tried to reason with me asking why that was the first red flag. I called my bank that had the same number keep in mind however I called directly from the phone number online and the representative told me there was no flag on my account. I told her someone from there number called me and she seemed just as confused. I still to this day am unsure if it was a one of the people that worked there trying to scam me or if scammers now have the technology to call from the banks actual phone number. Moral of the story is never agree to giving your information in calls like this. Make sure you call your bank and if they are telling the truth then they will understand why you needed to be sure.
Biden voter 😂😂😂
I keep telling people NEVER use your PHONE OR ANY COMPUTER for your banking, If you need to do banking, GO TO THE BANK in person and if you get a text never reply to it.. You can always call your bank and ask if they texted you. A bank member called me one day and left a voicemail and I looked up the branch number and called them and asked if they really just called me and they said they did to tell me about some new rate on one of my accounts and I bitched them out for calling me, I said send me something in the mail and I will talk with them next time I'm in there but NEVER call me cause I wont tell you ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE…
Women 🤡
How many times do you have to be told not to discuss money bank accounts anything personal over the phone with literally somebody you have no idea who it is. I’m sorry this happened but it seems like it’s your fault never never never never never do that
Just dont answer phone calls if someone asks your for money tell them send me a bill. 🤷🏻♂️
If you have an iPhone don’t respond to the spam text, delete and report as spam.
If the person on the phone claiming to be from your bank has an African accent or an Indian accent, just hang up on them because they are always scams.
Soooo basically she’s not getting her money back 🤦🏽♀️
Scammers should be caught and water boarded.
I don'T know how it works in USA but here not only they don'T call you, but when you call them they make it hard to get through.
Banks never text you.. Some people are so gullible! 😏
Omg lmao. Nice she allowed her stupidity on the news so others can learn. Dang no wonder you guys get scammed lmao
No no no not LastPass! It was breached in early 2023. I don’t have a better recommendation for a password manager but LastPass is not secure!
that's why you act like an adult and go to the bank
It would also help if, everytime the bank's system got hacked, they informed their customers and advised them to take action.
It’s almost always Chase and Zelle 😅. This is getting ridiculous.
Twitter recently leaked all users to the dark web, you are probably hacked as of couple weeks ago.
what a moron lol
c'mon… this isn't a sophisticated new scam
I mean, I'm glad you're putting this out there for other people that would be dumb enough to follow these steps, but who would actually go through this whole process without verifying with their bank?
As for a fraud department, we will call out to you if we suspect fraud, and you have every right to call us back if you do not trust the call
dont reply to text mesaages or calls go to the bamk in person
What is crazy is how did the caller know about the users bank balance without having access to the account in the first place.
