This is not th first instance of a city being allowed to fail because the population is black. There's Flint, Detroit, and many other cities the elites have left behind. There are multiple billion dollar black families and this still happens.

These people need to quit buying single-use bottled water, it may be cleaner than their tap water but it's very loosely regulated when it's regulated at all. A gallon refill of reverse osmosis Culligan water is 39 cents a gallon. 5 gallons is less than 2 dollars. does nobody have any sense anymore? Most grocery stores and Walmart have it if you don't want to pay Culligan to deliver it. We have cryptosporidium in our raw water source. How do I know? a town of 9000 has a microfiltration system which is very impressive and it failed and they notified us on day 59 of what had to be a 60-day window. why the delay? Because if you don't announce it when babies, elderly, people on chemo (and we have a few all the time) other immune compromised people present to the ER you don't think cryptosporidium and when they die that will never be the cause of death. No one can connect the dots. So, I don't drink the water because it isn't safe and not just the random breach but EPA doesn't require testing for or filtering out crypto but the cities get credits for it and if they should ever drop below EPA standards on atrazine or mercury the things EPA REQUIRES municipalities to treat for, they can apply their credits and they don't get fined and certainly don't feel the need to burden the public with the revelation. It's shady start to finish – we've hit a pollution squealing point here and though your water may not be chunky (YET) it still might not be healthy to drink. And if you wash your hair in Culligan water… oh my goodness. No minerals like calcium. The city or school district should be organizing this. It's got to be cheaper. Eating out? Ewww.

Just makes sense if everybody’s living below the poverty line that means are getting assistance from the government and they’re not paying taxes. If they’re not paying taxes, then there’s no way to fund the government for upgrades and repairs. You’ve got to entice other people in and give them a benefit of moving and then you have some taxes coming in to do the repairs to do the upgrades to keep the city going.
