If they really want to follow tradition, Charles should have been skipped over for William (no scandals, no inappropriate relationships), not because Charles is divorced but because he is an adulterer and the monarch is the supreme governor of the Church of England which states that sex belongs within the confines of marriage.
Biblically, the bible teaches, thou shalt not have no other God's before thee. In a sense following those who adhere to titles of nobility is in my view a sin. Now I am alright in stating Mrs. Elizabeth passing must be with respect difficult for the family, and all she held dear. I pray God has mercy upon her soul and that she's bless to be received back into the Kingdom of Heaven. I am most enthrall and if I could see her judgement day, I can't help but wonder what will her soul say in reference to what did she do help her fellow man of all races.

What an awesome ceremony! Here in the U.S., we would never go through all that fanfare. When JKF passed away, we did not see such fanfare when VP Lyndon B. Johnson became president. This is truly cool and remarkable and it gave me a few goosebumps! A very pompous display that our friends over the pond do all the time with professionalism, like a military parade! A very extravagant public ceremony fit for a king!
Does King Charles have any political power, or is it placed solely on the Prime Minister? Does the PM consult the King on political matters? What if it comes to (gulp!) nuclear attack, and to respond militarily?
Wish the transition of power went this easily here in the States…
