screw airbnb, its true , the last rental I had was poorly maintained, no hot water and everything I touched broke, please sue them, and they charge all these stupid fees.

AirBnB don't care. They will just say that they don't own the rental. I've stayed at many places without working smoke/CO2 detectors, fire violations and questionable safety concerns

This is shocking. Carbon monoxide is not something most people think of as a potential holiday stay risk item. AirBnB need to do a lot more to address the quality of their host’s properties.
