People ask why does death sentences takes so long, lets remember that quite of few executions killed innocent people so denying ones right is very unconstitutional, i pray for thoses souls that believe that the death penalty is a must yall are killers as well

If he survived the 1st attempt at execution, I would think he could've argued that he fulfilled his sentence the 1st time and survived. Why doesnt 2nd attempt go against double jeopardy. He was put through the death sentence, after giving up wouldn't that count as fulfilling his sentence?

What I want to know is why? When the massive amounts of fentanyl being confiscated daily in our nation & a small amount would be sufficient. I take this stance as a person whose spouse of 30 yrs was murdered. Forgiveness is the only way but of course not forgetfulness.

He complained during the execution that this was a step backwards, then 20 minutes later he died and the state took two steps forward.

Appears that agony and torture were "expected side effects" according to Alabama officials. That kind of response raises concerns of whether or not 'tests' were performed to ascertain the possibly documented "side effects". One recently demonstrated to be death. That being said, the death sentence was carried out against a convicted killer.
