As a Republican, I disagree with what Alabama is doing. I think instead of playing these games, the republican party should be out there telling black folks that more than half a century of black people giving their votes to the Democrats has made things worse. Don't throw your hands in the air and conclude that black people will always be Democrats, that's an insult. Tell them why the democrat's policies aren't working for them or anyone else. The Democrat hopes that if these districts are redrawn, it would favor them. That might be true but it shouldn't be that way.

I am from Alabama and even though I am Caucasian I still feel disenfranchised. It is so gerrymandered here that we have no chance of democracy. We cannot vote these people out! We do not get to vote for any legislation. Then the federalists get involved and they decided to bring us Tuberville who is not an Alabamian and people are dumb enough to vote for him because football and Jesus. That success is why they thought they could do the same in Georgia with Herschel walker. The churches here rule politics and the preachers tell their people who to vote for. They will have to put a special Master over Alabama because these Baptist fascists think they can do whatever they want.
If they don’t have to follow their supermajority court, they themselves made, than neither do we.
