An Alabama man is set to be executed in by nitrogen gas, making the state the first in the country to attempt an execution this way. This same man also has already survived a failed execution previously. He tells NBC News about a conversation he had with an execution official.

LOL oh wow I didnt know americas opioid was extinct and we have no fentanyl left
If you collapse its your fault you want to be in there
This is against DOUBLE JEOPARDY LAW
Since air is 78% nitrogen, this might take awhile.
What could possibly go wrong?🤷🏻♂️
…please….you don't BRING someone to Alabama….that should have been…"first, we want to TAKE you to Alabama" lordy, didn't someone there go over things like that in journalism classes?
Fentanyl works and the US is awash in it thanks to the Mexican cartels.
I thought they only got one strike at the death penalty…. I thought if you survived it that the state doesnt get to try again.
the gilatin. They used it in the dark ages. ,
I thought Alabamastan was pro-life!! That’s what they say when they want pregnant women to carry a non-viable fetus to term!!! Oh right… Alabama republikkkkans aren’t really pro-life… the’re anti-woman. 🤨
DEPRAVED ALABAMA COMPLETELY SICK
I just found an article from Reuters on May 15, 2023 that changes my perspective. Most YT channels don’t allow links to be posted in comments but if you search: U.S. Supreme Court allows death row inmate's lawsuit after failed execution – you should find the article.
Basically, Smith filed a lawsuit asking to be put to death using nitrogen instead of lethal injection.. He actually was then brought into the execution chamber to receive lethal injection but they couldn’t find a vein that they could insert the needle into.
This is freaking barbaric! If one attempt already failed, I thought the state doesn’t get a second chance.
Back in the 1920s a man was set to go to the electric chair. So months before he routinely put his fingers in the light socket and finally became inmune to it. On the day of his execution there was a major power failure and they took him out and hanged him
i thought they werent supposed to tell him when hes supposed to be executed?
Use Trump as a guinea pig.
What ever happened to firing squads!?!?
Nitrogen is just creepy.😳😳😳
It takes 35 years to get Justice in America? Throw your whole system into the trash. Anyone who disagrees is a clown because it’s your tax dollars that have fed, clothed, and taken care of these murderers for 35+ years. There’s always excuses why we can’t take care of our kids education, our veterans, our people’s healthcare but we’ve got no problem spending ridiculous amounts of money keeping murderers in good care for almost four decades. This Justice system is a joke.
I don’t know they botched it??? Disgusting. Let him live. Their mistake
Well what about that husband of hers that ordered the hit?
WOW, NEVER BEEN USED BEFORE, MAYBE NOT IN ALABAMA BUT I REMEMBER MY PEOPLE WERE MURDERED FROM GAS AT AUSCHWITZ AND SHOAH…
😅
Death by suffocation?
American lack compassion!
It's something seriously wrong with Americans
I thought if yu survive deathrow dey have to let yu go 🤔
seems like an odd concern the mask leaking in a little oxygen seeing as how a leak killed six people
NO. If an execution fails, no second chance. That's insane. The details are redacted for a reason – this is an excruciating, terrible, inhumane death. Effing Alabama. Filled with hate.
