With that in mind what would happen to one of these Alabama “children” if their biological parents died prior to them being able to become unborn? The not yet conceived “children” would become orphans, would they become a ward of the State? Would DCFS need to step in to see for their welfare? Would the State become financially responsible for their housing and… I guess maintenance would be the appropriate word? Finally, would the “child” be legally entitled to inheritance?

“Human life cannot be wrongfully destroyed without incurring the wrath of a holy God. “Even before birth, all human beings have the image of God, and their lives cannot be destroyed without effacing his glory.”
He invoked the Book of Genesis and the prophet Jeremiah and quoted at length from the writings of 16th- and 17th-century theologians.
THAT is pure religious belief, not science. Theocracies are based on religious law as in Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, the Vatican and Yemen. The US is not a theocracy no matter how badly some right-wing Christians desire it.
This is an example of fascist theocracy, harming the IVF industry jobs and the rights of women (AGAIN!!).
This goes well beyond ignorance. The Alabama SC ruling will not stand, it cannot. If in fact, they knew and understood the level of ignorance they were engaging in that court should be dissolved. This is an unconscionable decision. Witless and cruel. Intentional ignorance is defined as stupid and that is what this is.
Unborn children ARE children! Certainly at least once they are able to feel consciousness and/or pain. Unborn Lives Matter.

Since life begins at conception, embryos are humans that deserve human rights which the government IS supposed to defend. No, I'm not religious. If a woman is killed and found to be pregnant, The murderer is justly charged with a double homicide.
So according to Alabama, there are a bunch of literal frozen children sitting around? Now what? Are they going to end up in a foster freezer? Are people going to adopt them?
Does the Montgomery Alabama water supply have a lead contamination problem? How else do you explain the brain deterioration in the state capital, or is this simply due to inbreeding. Perhaps people in the capital think this is the 1690's, so we can expect them to start witch trials next.
