I used to work for Boeing. As soon as I pointed out the flaws (many), I was let go. They even told me "Don't Be So Nitpicking" and asked me to revise the document. IF I was asked to testify in the Congress, I would. Lack of Leadership at Boeing. There are so many Managers .. a Manager has his manager and his manager has another manager to report to. 3 freaking steps to report to 3 different managers. Red Tapes at Boeing !!

Been on enough planes to know that many babies or small children are not belted in. I'm very paranoid and belted in as much as possible. Imagine on this flight if someone had been walking by on the way to the bathroom when this happened.

My first thought was imagine if someone was sitting in the seat next to the door plug and was holding their baby 😞😞or it was a small child in that seat. Or anyone for that matter. The out come would’ve been so tragic.

Here's something to consider. A typical 737 has over 500,000 parts. Makes you wonder how many other nuts and bolts aren't there.

Oh cmon everyone knows being emotionless is the first qualification of being a modern day CEO of any company. Anyone educated on Boeing’s history knows they also started sacrificing quality checks for expediency once they moved headquarters to Chicago and there’s been problems with the planes since. There’s this and then of course who can forget the nosedive crashing issue. Absolutely ridiculous.
It was just luck, fate or divine intervention. Whatever you want to call it, that there were no deaths on that flight. You can't talk about "mistakes" when it comes to airplanes. You talk about negligence and Boeing should face the cost of being negligent and not buy politicians to keep hiding behind them.
If the door had been properly fastened it would not have flown off.

MAY BE BOEING NEEDS TO TONE DOWN THEIR MC NAMARA TYPE BEAN COUNTERS AND INSTEAD .CONSENTRATE ON QUALITY IMSTEAD OF QUANTITY. HAD THE PLUG LEFT THE AIRCRAFT AT 30000 FEET THE TEMPERATURE WOULD [PROBABLY HAVE BEEN 60 DEGREES BELOW ZERO. HOW MANY PASSENGERS COULD HAVE HANDLED THAT BEFORE REACHING 10000 feet.
Oh wait…. Now it matters? Uhhh I think it always mattered but Boeing management has given zero fucks for a long time.
