Im in Alaska now. I am being contacted be people in the lower 48 with concerns. My town was a nice day today. The state is fine! This state is huge, western alaska is lightly populated and the damage was done in and around the tiny town of Nome. Nome is on the Bering Sea, the heart of horrible storms, and this one was the worse in 10 years. So no, Alaska is not in danger state wide as the media is reporting.
