Actor Alec Baldwin will be charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the “Rust” film set. It was Very Obvious that he was going to get charged with involuntary manslaughter.

"When it went off", It's very very common knowledge now that he pulled the trigger assuming it was a dummy round.
Suggesting it was a fake gun (a prop) and inferring it just 'happened to go off' as if they were not shooting a scene is just horrible horrible coverage.

The two people in charge of the prop gun and the rounds used in it are guilty………..not Alex Baldwin………..I think he has suffered enough! Apparently people working on the movie set were in the habit of taking the guns out and firing live rounds at targets on their "off time" and that is how live rounds got mixed in with the prop rounds on the set; not Alex Baldwin's fault, and he never should have been charged……….those in charge of the prop gun need to go to prison…………in particular the little witch who claims she had nothing to do with it!!!

Well we can be grateful that this happened in Arizona elsewhere the NRA and Republicans influence is much too high for the state even consider bringing criminal charges everytime Bruce lee's name comes up I also think of his son who lost his life under similar circumstances Bruce Lee's son was much too young to die ,just remember that ,as for Baldwin he needs to plead guilty in order to avoid jail ,he gets probation pay the cost at of prosecution and begin the necessary changes well over do,end of story.

No matter how goes, it is a real "lose-lose" situation. Nobody wins and everybody is harmed. So very sad. Perhaps if we didn't focus so much on guns in our films stuff like this wouldn't happen,
It's a real gun that can and did shoot real ammo. That means you must treat it AS SUCH. You dont point it at anyone and pull the trigger. He was negligent. That's why it's not murder. Everyone trying to defend him should ask themselves if it had been their family member shot after he pulled the trigger aiming it at them, regardless of whether he "thought" it was a blank or dummy round, would you say "Ahh that's okay I wont sue or press charges. No problem."

The point of imprisonment is keeping people who are a risk to society, locked away from society. It's not there to 'make them pay' for crimes. Mr. Baldwin will never be in that situation again, and is not a risk to the public. A sentence without prison time is appropriate for this case.
