The speaker got it wrong. He never denied committing the murders. He denied hurting them. He was beating around the bush with the way he worded it.
Of course they will appeal, Alex inherited 4 million from his father that will be spent on his useless appeals. Simply put, it’s hard to get past him being present within minutes of his wife and son being slaughtered. Visiting the crime scene put it all in perspective. Murdaugh dynasty is really a dysfunctional very flawed family.
Why would you lie about the location that you were at when they were murdered? I'd be like, ya I was there at such and such a time. I did see a red van, or something like that if you were not the one who did it, come on!!!!!!!!!!!

It's interesting that none of the family members of Maggie spoke at the pre-sentencing hearing.
Judge Newmans son who recently died was also an attorney, despite his professionalism im sure he was thinking of his own son during this trial

The Judge was incredible a Great Man and individual he was giving Alex the opportunity to realy get honest no more lies but Alex still kept lying I feel deep sympathy to both sides of the Families
Why, why, why would Alex Murdaugh, on June 7, execute his son Paul and his wife, Maggie, who he adored and loved so much? Why Procecutor fabricated some evidence? So they lied means they are murderers of Paul and Maggie? I don't believe Dr. Kenny guy. His credentials? What kind of deal he made with prosecutors? I believe there are 2 killers not one who use 2 separate guns to kill 2 ppl? It does not make sense.
Alex will go to his grave denying he killed his son and wife. Like the Judge said, they will continue to visit him until he try to take his own life.

My true belief is if he really didn't do it, it's nearly impossible for him not to be connected to it somehow. If he really left the kennels just before, then left the property with the timeline we're given, I just can't come up with how he doesn't know something more.. IF he didn't.
This is coming from someone that felt there wasn't enough being presented for most of the trial to actually get a jury of 12 to agree on a conviction.
It's just hard to believe he's completely innocent with zero knowledge at all.

I have a family member who is a junkie, a drug addict & have seeing this individual change personalities, like a personality disorder; three different personalities before my very own eyes, doing things & has no recollection; popping back into reality changing personalities frequently. I agree with the judge 100%

One more reason to be against the death penalty. People like Murdaugh will NEVER get it. He committed a double Murdaugh. All those other Murdaughs going back 100 years, who sent plenty of other people to their deaths no doubt, would not allow it, I do declare.
p.s. excuse my lack of breedin' for asking such in-delicate questions but where's all the money coming from to pay the lawyers? and where is it going to come from to do all the appeals and plead those 99 cases?

This case is so disturbing and there are still loose threads — (1) the amount of money and cost of oxycodone don’t match; (2) why would a drug dealer agree to kill his addict/money supply? (3) he and his son Buster share the same gambling addiction; (4) Buster’s involvement in these murders going back to 2015 is murky to say the least. There is more going on here
Judge Newman’s son passed away unexpectedly in January and here he had to reside over a trial where a father murdered his own son. I hope he can rest for awhile.

Judge Newman would be quite a person to know over a beer or two. I don’t know him but I know he commands absolute respect.
Ensuring zero money left from estate for son and being sued
and my guess is he pushed the housekeeper down the stairs knowing he could steal the insurance money should have got conviction on financial crimes with death sentence for murder 30 years from now
Of course his attorneys will appeal. There’s still more money they can suck out of his estate.
