Odd behavior, but many saw the trial, nothing indicates he would have gotten off with a different jury.
Some legal antics really feel like they're just a waste of time trying to get off on irrelevant technicalities. And dragging in several more people to give the same verdict feels like you're turning a potential new jury into victims of wage theft in a way. Not like they're paid well to sit through that crap.
