Doesn't the strongest baby eagle push the others out of the nest?
May we not forget while we watch these magnificent Birds that their Existence is incredibly fragile. Our Planet is losing 1,000 of Species every Year. I've always found the contrast poignant and painful that Man is the only Species that destroys its own Habitat – (& therefore destroys other Species as well). It is a rare Human that can rival the innate Intelligence of Animals.
"Very rare" that Bald Eagles Parent together? Not true. They are very good Parents & work in tandem. They hunt & bring one another food as NEVER would they leave the Nest unattended. More often the Male brings the Food to the Female but if she needs to go stretch her Wings, the Male takes over the Nest during that Time to protect it from Predators. They also remain doting Parents overseeing their Babies long after First Flight when they mature into Junior status.
How many of their offspring have lived? The last clutch of eggs didn't hatch.
