Remember when lyon first joined the test squad and all you'd hear in the papers was he isn't as good as Warne. Doesn't turn it as much, nothing but negativity.
I grew up watching and idolising a lot of these players only to have them torn down by nobody's with an opinion.
And at this point the person who isn't as good as Warne who doesn't turn it as much now has 400 test wickets which is a phenomenal effort.

I think it's too early to tell whether Pat can handle the pressure of being a fast bowler captain. But the way he managed the team on the 4th day after England showed some character with the partnership of Root and Malan, I think he is up for the task. Best of luck to him 👍
