Amazon drivers or anyone delivering shouldn't have to go into any gates to deliver packages or mail. Why put their lives on the line?

I can’t believe people actually make these orders knowing they have these animals just out and about with no supervision. Where were the customers? Did they not notice this truck and this poor victim likely screaming for help in their yard ?! All this tracking info provided to customers and they couldn’t be bothered to secure their pets for the day???

Leawood, a suburb of Kansas City, near Overland Park Ks is the worst place ever to deliver packages. literally everyone wants to have or do have their dog’s loose.. I’m surprised every delivery driver that goes there is not killed.
i am an Amazon delivery driver and this disturbed me all day today. I imagined this happening to one of the many awesome and delightful female drivers that work for our company, and it was just awful to imagine. I feel so bad for that person! what a horrible horrible way to go!

The dogs owner need to be held responsible,after all they let these dangerous dogs run freely. Now a mother and a father had lost a child due to they negligent, my heart go out to the parent of this child.

The terror this driver went thru is 💔. Delivery drivers/carriers put their lives on the line to deliver packages. The very least customers can do is treat them with respect and make sure your dogs cannot access them… espec if you didn’t properly train your dogs. My condolences to this victim’s family.

I’m a driver I bust my ass everyday and make sure my community gets their orders. Now I am even more scared then I was before. I have been chased by dogs and almost bitten multiple times. Amazon has been nothing but ignorant with their response. I love my job and I love delivering smiles but it’s not worth my safety.
I feel Amazon should add a policy named after this person. The policy should be if a driver sees a dog that is not chained within the property then the package will not be delivered

Irresponsible dog owners! Don't get aggressive dogs, especially if you can't get them professional training and keep them restrained from people.
Police should round up all dogs owned by these people and put them down as well as criminal charging the owners.

I'm 58 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, we are finding it impossible to replace it. We can get by, but cant seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 40years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for
The dog owners should be arrested for murder. There is no excuse for having dogs like that – period.
