Russian authorities have detained a Los Angeles resident on suspicion of treason for raising funds to support Ukraine in it’s defense against Russia. The American detained was confirmed as Kseniya Karolina, a Russian-American ballerina.

Why any American is going to Russia at this time, particularly any person of a higher-than-normal profile is beyond my comprehension. I know many, if not most, Americans are not very intelligent people, and this event checks the box one more time. I hope she lives to learn a lesson.
