The Highland Park shooter, like Parkland and Uvalde (and so many more in addition), was done by someone who should have been in a psychiatric hospital. Based on behaviors prior to their shootings, they would have been put in psychiatric hospitals decades ago, a time when we didn't have mass shootings. In fact, at the time when the inventor was alive that is exactly where people with these unbalanced behaviors were put. He would NOT have wanted to see the rights of the VAST majority of American gun owners infringed because we aren't willing to put people who are severely psychologically disturbed in psychiatric hospitals and aren't willing to keep those who have proved themselves violent behind bars.

Nothing controversial about the AR-15. It is the modern rifle of the militiaman, and protected by the 2nd.
