The main issue undermining both kids and adult's mental health is abrupt exponential climate change. In Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs, the need for safety and security are primary. If these needs are not met, individuals collapse and so do entire societies. Climate change is now making all of our lives insecure and uncertain and will very soon collapse society and life as we know it. The politicians and fossil fuel companies and those that grew rich from these industries are to blame for humanity's predicament. We will never know true peace and security or sound mental health ever again.
