So bands will have to develop shows that can only play in one theater in the World! They had to promise U2 90% of the gate to get them. After music they plan on making their nut selling Movie Tickets to Strip tourists. There's a reason there are no movie theaters on the Strip. Someone will own this white elephant for an excellent price after the Bankruptcy.
That thing looks amazing. Too bad the exterior will most certainly be used solely for God awful advertisements that will be a perpetual thorn in the eye of local residents.

When i was in Vegas last year, this was a giant black sphere under construction. I thought they were building a modern concert/convention center, black in color. Did not think for one moment that they will just cover it up leds and make its exterior a screen! Crazy stuff!!

I like this…but how much energy is it sucking up….u spent that much money on a big shiny ball full of robots who r going to take over the world (iRobot) what about the homeless in the country, ppl who need shelter, kids who need safety, food, shelter, clothes, etc…Maui fires just happened, ppl need to rebuild, need homes, need food, need clothes, cars, etc…the world doesn’t need a big shiny ball (no matter how cool) this country needs to help its ppl, there r ppl who could have benefited from even a teeny tiny portion of the money used for this thing…
