Because sir, you do not know the dynamics of abuse – there is ONE abuser and Amber was clearly the ONE. There can be reactions to abuse – but not two abusers – she proved that was her with her compulsive lying and threats to him about not exposing her abuse, in admitting to abusing him, etc. NOT a surprising verdict at all.

Nbc is clearly biased towards amber
She demonstrably lied about TMZ, she lied about the donations, she brought fake pictures, she was partying with no bruises, scratches nor broken bones, the day after each alleged incident, she described the covering of bruises by describing the method of creating them, she overdramatized her testimony, she described incidents from the abuser point of view, she never "remember" how they started, she wanted us to believe the audios were "negotiations" while she is screaming and insulting him in them, and finally there is audio of her admitting to starting physical.fights and not promising to stop. There was not a single evidence or credible testimony on her behalf. No one was witness of her alleged abuse. She had no medical evidence, no bruises, no witnesses. Johnny brought witnesses that saw her start fights, their was witnesses that confirmed she hit Rocky her friend, and her previous girlfriend for which she was arrested. He brought medical records, audio recordings. Then the experts. Men, it would have been disingenious for anyone to believe her.
Scamber turd is a liar her evidence was all fake the pics where proven to be altered and there was not one piece of medical evidence that she was abused just what she said ( were suppost to belive her?) and she had drugged up cocained up experts on the stand. After I heard the full audio videos that's is it was all her..he loved her and wanted a good relationship but she's a drug addict plus has these mental problems…she needs help! And I want msnbc to know I won't be watching you any longer you give fake news…imagine if I hadn't watch the trial and came to msnbc for an update such liars just like scamber turd…

I would honestly love to know how much of the trial journalists actually watched. As someone that supported AH at the beginning….I certainly did not by the end and feel like she made fools of so many that did support her. Although majority of dv is against women, not all is. Why are people finding it difficult to grasp this? It really did not take me long at all to hear those alarm bells. Toxic relationship for both, but so many if her "truths" were unravelled and there were so many that she lost credibility. She was not believable at all. I believe this is why the jury came to their decision. Yes, I did find out more from social media, but it was all from recorded audio. The one that finally made up my mind was the audio of her doctor and nurse when they acknowledged that the "finger incident" was her doing. If someone like myself can find this type of information freely and easily, what are mainstream media doing??

I think, as someone watching the trial, the jury viewed & compared all the testimony & evidence that AH provided and saw that there was conflicting facts even within the evidence itself (eg photos). After that, AH’s own testimony came across as exaggerated.
Both of them are not good people but the tearless crying rightfully did Amber in.
If her allegations were true, she would have just said it was JD in her op-ed.
What evidence, the fake bruises she created with her bruise kit? The TMZ video she leaked of cabinets being assaulted? Her and her sister’s conflicting stories? The TMZ shot of her fake bruise when getting the TRO and then the next day the picture of her laughing with no bruise? She lied and ruined that man’s life. Free speech? You can’t say bike lies like she did and think there are no repercussions. The truth still matters.
She had no evidence. She said she had been punched multiple times in the face while he was wearing rings and she had a photo with a red mark on her face. Other incidents she claimed the same kinds of beatings then went to an event that night or the next night, no a mark on her. The only actual video evidence was police bidycam footage showing no injury and no destruction.
Did you guys actually watch the trial? Amber Heard was completely uncredible. If you diagrammed most of her testimony it made no sense. 1000s of DV and or SA survivors watching multiple streams did not believe a word she said.

How about reporting the blatant lies she's told just in this courtroom. No self respecting person confuses or uses pledge synonymously with donate. Also her testimony didn't match the "evidence" in her pictures, ie repeatedly punched, lost count, with rings and she only has a bruise. Why don't you do some real reporting and stop being biased. I can look up a boxing match and see how many cuts were made with gloves on. Mainstream media needs to have higher standards when reporting and report both sides not just what is favorable to them. I hate the fact that I have to find 3 or more sources to determine what is actually happening.

I never thought that any news station would say that the jury disregarded VIDEO evidence. Amber was labeled THE ABUSER for many reasons. Firstly, b/c she told him (audio recording of this) "tell the world Johnny, tell the world that you are a victim of domestic violence. no one will believe you." She was done in by her own words. Or the other audio recording of her hitting him repeatedly and saying that she was "not punching" him "hitting" him.

Don’t forget, women of domestic abuse, that the liberal media says the only reason you’re siding with Johnny Depp is because the misogynistic man army has tricked you, or you’re an obsessed Johnny Depp fan. The very people who claim to advocate for #metoo are actually hurting it by continually saying that it’s taken a big hit. But that’s just the media, again, trying to plant ideas in the mind of the public. The reality is that many people wouldn’t have even thought this until the media said it. I’ll still continue to believe women who claim to be victims of abuse just like I did for Amber Heard in the beginning, but now I’m less likely to believe them in the very beginning if it spawns from liberal media articles. If there is an argument that can be made for damage to #metoo, the source of the damage is Amber Heard and the liberal media supporting her.

When you get up on the stand and put on a show like Amber, listen to her in the audio and looked at the total lack of any evidence. Depp beating up his own property instead of Amber, isn’t physical abuse. Considering what we heard on the audio she gave more than she got in terms of verbal abuse so that’s a wash. Too many witnesses including her own contradicted her testimony. The photos? Oh yes we also saw her paltry photos and the resulting bruise kit evidence. More people have responded positively to Depp’s post trial statement than watch your lying network in year. I hope he sues you next!

There was so much evidence that she was lying. The jury didn’t discard the evidence but made the right choice because of the evidence. Absolute bias from MSNBC. Good to know to be take your reporting with a grain of salt going forward.
What video evidence? There was no video of him doing anything to her. She had a photo that couldn't be proved to be read nor that Depp had anything to do with it.

Not sure but you must not have paid attention the photos were photoshopped it was proven so how can you find a guilty verdict with false evidence??? In fact they should be charged with presenting false evidence into court the pictures were tampered with and it was legitimately proven. Dang did you even watch this!!! There was not any video evidence that she was abused. That assertion is absurd. Their was however evidence that Heard not only lied about many things not related to her claims of abuse, but that she also lied about specific claims of abuse. She discredited her own story, which is ultimately why she lost. And I say this as someone who is a fan of neither party, but just someone who watched actual trial coverage. The lack of journalism in covering this case is astounding.
