  1. Mrs. Potts, Jessica Fletcher, Mame, Rose, Mrs. Lovett, rest in beautiful peace. Thanks for gifting us with your talent and such wonderful memories in all of the roles youโ€™ve played. Such a versatile talent who will be missed by so ma
    By of us โ™ฅ๏ธ

  2. I watched her on Nanny McPhee and loved the way she played Aunt Adelaide!!!:)

  3. Talented, versatile, a great lady, a great actress. One of a kind.

  4. Fun Fact: Angela's sister used to sell pants so she had her name legally changed to Isolde Denham. She couldn't spell very well but you get the phonetics.

  5. I hate to tell you this, but she was MURDERED. I'm pretty sure the disgruntled gardener did it, but it could have been the butler.

  6. Angela Lansbury's grandad was the leader of the Labor Party in Britain and she was, in addition to all the other things she was, a lifelong socialist. RIP O great one.

  7. I just loved her ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

  8. She was just so wonderful and versatile. What a woman! RIP Ms. Lansbury, we love you.

  9. Que Dieu ait pu bรฉnir son รขme, je l'aimais bien, c'รฉtait une belle femme aussi ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ•Š๐Ÿฅ€

  10. โ€œI would like to be remembered as someone who entertained, who took one out of oneself for a few minutes, a few hours, transported you into a different venue, gave you relief, gave you entertainment, gave you joy and laughter, tears, all those things. I would like to be remembered as somebody who was capable of doing that.โ€

    ANGELA LANSBURY

  11. Just a โ€ฆ. Stunning talent on every performance level: the operatic demands of โ€œSweeney Toddโ€ (a Tony win) her delightful ease as Jessica Fletcher on TV โ€” YouTube some of her impossible-to-pull off (live) song and dance turns on Tony Awards telecastsโ€ฆ My fave: Lansburyโ€™s (Oscar-robbed) turn as the wicked, power-hungry Mother in โ€œManchurian Candidateโ€ the classic film of 1962, thought by some to be too surreal, over-the-topโ€ฆ now seems nuanced, precise and prophetic โ€”with the current malignancy of Trumpism.

  12. Thank you for everything dear Angela .

  13. I didn't start really watching Murder She Wrote until the last year, thanks Peacock! But Angela Lansbury, I realized, was not far different from her character, Jessica Fletcher. I think anyone who invested anytime in the series would also share that sentiment. I read a piece yesterday where she talked about living in Hollywood during her prime. She said she would have much rather stayed at home doing housekeeping than going out to the parties and venues. How about that for JB Fletcher? She touched my soul and she'll be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to those who were undoubtedly blessed to know this woman and have a connection with her.

  24. My grandmother was friends with her from a very young age. She was a family friend. After my grandmother died of Alzheimers in 2017, I could always call for advice. It seems as now, all of my elders are gone. When I got the text, I went to bed for 15 hours. Rest in peace, dear Lady.

  28. An artist with a long and beautiful career with so many accomplishments. They forgot to mention that she played Elizabeth's Taylor older sister in " National Velvet" but in the end she was very well accomplished. She did it her way. May you rest in peace and forever in our conscience and memories ๐Ÿ™:)

  29. All I can say, is wow โคโค

  30. My respect for her died and contempt began the day she stated (paraphrasing)women invite sexual assault because of the scanty clothing they wear.

  31. I loved her in a western with my favorite actor….. She was very young then too. She played a famous singer and he was a Sheriff. Oh! I love this man but I can't recall his name right at the moment. Well, just watch her in a western. They did ride off in to the sunset together. Happily ever after.โค ๐Ÿ˜ โค ๐Ÿ˜ His name was
    "Kaylub Ware" in the western.

  32. RIP Angela Lansbury she has given me and my family many memories.
