The company says the train was carrying hazardous materials, but those cars did not derail. Officials reported no injuries and no public health threats, but asked less than a dozen residents within 1,000 feet of the site to shelter in place for roughly nine hours overnight. Authorities also say they were unaware the train had hazardous materials on board before the derailment.

Empty carts mid-section, going to fast. braked and lifted the 2 empty carts allowing the rear load to come forward and lift the front carts through the rear pushing. Maybe a seized bearing? doubt it.. unless all the bearings are seized. a train can continue with one seized wheel grinding.
