That's very cool. A whole new spatial computer. It feels completely different this time. I think Apple is trying to make Apple Vision Pro a brand new spatial computing platform. A whole new XR spatial computer that completely moves real and traditional computers experience to the virtual world, and the work of traditional computers can be completed in the virtual world. What is most lacking now is a truly practical and subversive content ecology.

Let’s be honest. This thing looks cool but what does it actually do? So you can see your email as part of augmented reality. Maybe run a browser as well. Big deal?
And when am I suppose to wear this thing exactly? I like to watch a tv/ screen without some virtual reality glasses jammed up against my head. And there’s no way I’m wearing this at work. I like to look my colleagues in the eye when they sit around me.
Apple has hyped up a product for which there is little use or context. Good luck spending 3500 dollars if you’re a strong believer.

I can image the rich people buying this Augmented Reality (AR) using the pass-thru cameras overlaying the real world image with the digital overlay like the AR iPhone and playing the Pokemon Go will start walking into traffic, falling down stairs, and not paying attention to the real world; at least with AR iPhone you could look away from the i-Phone and not be immerse in the AR with the headset.
