EVs are an economic mistake that only exist because the government forced it.
They were NEVER popular, NEVER cost effective, NEVER plausible… but they certainly helped a lot of US taxes vanish through no-bid contracts and off-shore bank accounts.
Electric cars are the new EDSEL. no one wanted one.
