and as for public "education"…. it has been obsolete for decades. if your education was so great why do you doubt your ability to teach your kids? and if your education wasn't so great why the hell would you send your kids back into a failed system!?!??
Education and Indoctrination are NOT the same thing. Finally people are waking up!
A lot of parents have masters degrees too, and Doctorate degrees. Parents can do research and learn and discern what is good for their children – better than a lot of teachers can.

Absolutely. I’m a retired teacher and just looking at what Teachers Unions are advocating for is enough to make me tell parents who ask to homeschool instead of having activists pretending to be teachers secretly trying to corrupt children and homes.
The Public School system (and their powerful unions) have become an institution dedicated to woke indoctrination of children. Actual "education" of students has now become just a "side hustle". No wonder they want to eliminate standard testing and AP classes in the name of "equity". Just about every major city in America can now "boast" declining test scores and literacy rates thanks to the Dept. of Education, Teachers Unions and Demoncats.
If I had minor children, I would not allow them to attend public "schools" under any circumstances. The left has propagandized an entire generation of children into race baiting eco-nazis who can't determine what gender they are.
Democrats tell us that we need to be more like Europe. Ok fine. I own a home in Germany. Its current value is $428,000 I pay $1,100 in property taxes. I do not have children in school, I do not pay school taxes. My property taxes in Texas on a $260,000 home total $7,600 a year. I pay school taxes in Texas and I have no children in school. Why?

You must mean woke indoctrination centers… its no wonder, children have not been learning anything useful or valuable at all unless they have been properly home schooled. More people should be homeschooling children and these public institution "education" indoctrination centers should all be de funded along with all taxes nullified. I believe that education funds should instead be channeled by the communities at the state level toward homeschooling parents and teachers with the best overall merit. Children should be taught HOW to think, not WHAT to think.

My son placed his children in a catholic school this year.
I did years ago. Private school since kindergarten. I haven’t had a new car in years but my kids aren’t trans or woke. They are healthy mentally and physically. At 18 they can do as they please. I’m very secure with the fact that I and their school and church have given them all the tools to live a good life…..
We have completely fleed!!!! I will work overtime so my bride can stay home and home school our children………

They should but mostly depending where people live. Inner city schools forget it but small towns and suburbs are still ok. Again depending on the place. I would rather put my kids in a catholic school for sure.
As a parent who took my sons out of the school system both my wife and I have found that the system is misleading and setting up parents legally to fail if they Homeschool. Be careful, read everything and just follow the State level laws.
