Other than how Rohit batted in first innings in 2nd test, I don't think he has tried to bat cautiousy or taking pressure knowing he is seniormost in this current test team because he got out playing aggressively in first innings of 1st test, was again playing reverse sweeps in 2nd innings but got out on a good ball lbw from Hartley and in 2nd innings of 2nd test too hit a few boundaries but got an almost unplayable ball from Jimmy Anderson so he is not short of confidence or form, just short of runs.
