North Korea's dictator appears to have made a significant political U-turn. Now there are fears that a surprise attack will hit South Korea.!
For the past 68 years, 2 months and 29 days, the radio station Pyongyang Broadcasting Station had been active 23 hours a day.
But on January 12, 2024, the last broadcast was followed by a static hiss.
And then the frequency was silent.? "Radio and internet silence."
At the same time, the radio channel's website stopped working, and it was as if the Pyongyang Broadcasting Station had never existed. Something could indicate that the regime in North Korea no longer believes that it is time to talk. On the same day, the North-South Koreans weather map on the national TV station was changed from the old unified country, replaced with a divided North and South Korea map.
In a speech at the party meeting at the end of 2023, Kim Jong-un suddenly called South Korea "the enemy" and spoke of "a decisive change" in his policy.
Kim Jong-un's father, Kim Jong-il, had otherwise built a huge monument in concrete to emphasize that North Korea wants a peaceful reunification with South Korea.
