Its not like the state is preventing people from giving out food, they just want you to know how to keep people safe.
its not that crazy, a person that doesn't know how food handling works could get a lot of people sick, just go and get your permit if you want to cook food and take it to the park and give it out, its not that hard to do, lets make sure you handle things safely these people are weak on the streets, often don't get good health care so lets be sure we earn our food handling test, permit and then give from your heart.

Unbelievable. The city twists itself into a pretzel to legally be mean. What's wrong with these people?! I guess one solution is to have a private picnic in a park for all homeless people. They're going to arrest an elderly woman for being kind?! All their Christianity-justified bigotry, but they don't practice basic charity.

The only time you need to get food permit is business selling food .this woman is not selling food, the city and the government in that area is looking to make money and sound like a Democrat stronghold area.. and it public park ? If it is that mean it's open to the public for anyone can go there and have a picnic there's no law on that and and also the city must have a sign with the rules no sign no rule there's no law against it

cops doing their jobs heres why…. shes cooking mass food with no permit to do so with no food safety card with no fees paid to the city… she cooks this in her kitchen the cops are protecting the people from getting sick from being hurt sure buy one homeless person a burger or something but not delving out food… also then the homeless will come around gather around that nice park where people are and kids play doing drugs it encourages them to hang around.. ths city is right in this the city provides ebt cards basically free food anyway and free cell phones free medical and beds these homeless are not suffering come to cali they even give you money so theres no excuse
