Judging from that kids colored hair the Dad probably needs to find a way to be home more often because his absence is affecting his kids more than he knows.

I'm just a sucker for every video about a returning military person who surprises or gets surprised by family, friends or community. Yeah, I'm a sucker alright. Because I know kinda how it feels to be acknowledged and appreciated in a special way.
I remember surprising my mother by showing up in my dress blue Air Force uniform
unannounced after basic training. This was 1979. My mothers shock turned to tears of joy as she said "You left a boy, and returned a man!" And if you think I'm not crying about this after all these years you're wrong!
Like I said, I'm a sucker for these sappy videos!
I pray that every man and woman that fights for the United States of America receive this kind of welcome home

66 weeks of chemotherapy…did I hear that correctly or is the journalist reading it wrong with an extra 6? These feel good stories the media loves to closeout their programing with in their set format does not hit me like they should. I shut the television off years ago because I couldn't put up with the programming. This just reminds me why the media lost my respect.
When you see your kid putting colours on their hair like that, guaranteed everything you've done so far has been a failure!
