Spiritual warfare, than man was lit up with spirits of anger and fueled by bad spirits until he could only hear the murderous one and his plans. Its classic demonization and what the devil does with people. This incident and the Georgia jogger case both are sad tragic and violent. Since the Pennsylvania suspect is White, middle-aged, likely a native born American it will NOT nearly get the political attention from the Right Wing as the Georgia jogger case.
