  1. You guys are fantastic. And honest and looking positive in a realistic way

  2. Our west coast governors are making sure our spooks are well armed. Gun sales are “through the roof”, and they are killin’ the hell out of each other. (They must be watching Viking videos.) Now, so far, we’ve only played “Cowboys & Indians”, right fellas? Cheers, and thank you!

  3. This dumb ducking idiot, the Iran-Contra affair happened all under Regan

  4. Dems don't worry whether a policy is good, tax or otherwise. Their focus is whether it promotes their power. If wrecking the economy promotes their power, so be it. If crushing the lives of almost any group promotes their power, so be it. We have to stop all this handwringing about their miscalculations. They have made calculations based on power, and they largely succeeded. But they have now lost the power of the vote. Democrat voters are registering as Republicans. If Dem's are unable to cheat enough at the ballot box, all their policies will be reversed and we will begin the process of cleaning out the Deep State.

  5. Blue (Capitalist) average real wage crushers who 'lobby' (bribe) leaders to crush average real wage in a nation (which raising taxes does, tax is a staple of survival too) generally do not pay tax in the nation they target for a 'bust' so they can acquire cheap capital stock (land, property, loans & even some Purple (Noble) direct investment) from desperate homeowning Red (Populists) & domestic Purple (Nobles). Untraceable postal ballot vote tally adjustment in the name of a Green agenda has doomed Americans until the next regime change which will either have the interest rate hammer dropped on them by a complicit fed before they take charge or will be forced to drop the hammer themselves. Unless Trump goes full NS (not a bad idea, works for China) & supply side invests in non profit state owned competitors in the supply of staples of survival (food, drink, clothing, shelter & energy) to crush cost of living & allow average wage to drop to a competitive level that attracts capital direct investment in the production of non staples.
America's status as a reserve currency has kept the $ strong despite a huge exponentially growing trade deficit due to hi inflation in the ROW, as those issues ease & people start investing those sanctuary dollars in a bounce US will get hit hard by more inflation, very likely causing it to lose its reserve status if accompanied by a weak administration. Trump very much has his work cut out if he hopes to save America from its national debt De@th spiral. The US is no richer than India was before free trade deficit colonialism cruushed its average real wage so dont think developing world failed state status is impossible, it is very much in the pipeline & will take enormous national effort to avoid. The EU is a free trade Empire but the UK is a services payment balanced trade Union, we already solved this problem, we just need Tories off our back, the EU needs a lot more done.

  14. I miss these two smart, intelligent, insightful capable men as much as I miss President Trump's leadership. If only we can hold on till they all return.

  15. silly and stupid, because the is the greediest, most belligerent, hateful person who's ever been elected.

  16. Biden and company are clearing away the last remnants of Cosmopolitan Globalism. So their wreckage is productive in the new age of Trumpocracy: Outdated concepts serve the higher purpose, before the flood tide breaks free, and they are swept away, in the vanishing phase of 20th century history. The world historical discontinuity is not clean and abrupt, but jagged in zigzag fashion. Tempus Edax Rerum.

  17. From your lips to God's ears Art and Larry!!!

  18. If they really don't want investments that's easy to resolve. There are many paradises that both want and need investments. It should be an active investment global index fund. The "WNI fund" has more than fifty brilliant investment prospects for venture capitalists. Using the Laffer curve as a gauge would be quite interesting. Their current gauge seems to be as much looting and misrepresentation as possible.

  19. The idiots thinking they will see more of the funds from all the new taxing They'd be wrong. The only people gaining anything right now are in gubmint offices. They are not sharing anything right now.

panelYou Can’t Fool All the People All the Time: Political Trust at Risk

    Abstract

Electoral malpractices seem to be on the rise almost everywhere. While clearly problematic and compromising legitimacy from a normative point of view, we currently know little about the consequences of electoral malpractice for empirical legitimacy: does electoral malpractice reduce citizens’ trust in the political system? As electoral malpractices violate the basic rules of the (democratic) game, citizens should react to them with the withdrawal of political trust. However, are these negative effects the same in any type of political regime? Can we expect citizens to penalize electoral malpractice to the same extent in autocracies as they do in democracies? The present contribution proposes that electoral malpractice has a pronounced negative effect on political trust only in democracies but not in autocracies. It argues that citizens in democracies are primed to expect elections to be generally free and fair, making them more sensitive towards violations of the electoral rules than citizens in autocracies, who might – based on past experience – already expect at least some irregularities surrounding the electoral process. At the same time, media freedom plays a crucial role in moderating the effect of electoral malpractice on political trust: only in democracies, where the media are free to report on allegations of electoral fraud, will citizens receive sufficient information about electoral malpractices to actually form their political attitudes accordingly. In autocracies, especially the ones with an effective censorship apparatus, citizens are unlikely to actually learn about electoral malpractices unless they directly experience irregularities. For both reasons, we would therefore expect the negative effect of electoral malpractice to be weaker in autocracies than it is in democracies. The present contribution empirically tests this proposition by combining V-Dem data on the electoral process with a vast variety of survey data (Afrobarometer, AmericasBarometer, Arab Barometer, Asian Barometer, Latinobarómetro, World Values Survey). Covering more than 100 contemporary political systems around the globe, it uses multi-level structural equation modeling to analyze how electoral malpractice affects political trust in both democracies and autocracies.
