Yesterday Trump threatened everyone who thinks he should be held accountable for his crimes.
The Durham report, itself, "did not follow the best traditions of the law." A President charging his DOJ with the task of dredging up dirt on the family of an opponent. Based on nothing more than his belief that everybody is is dishonest and corrupt as he is.
I think Hutchinson is the most unqualified Republican candidate. I know that's judgmental, and maybe I can't back that up. Two Republicans on the Jan 6 committee, one was Liz Chaney, the committee interviewed witnesses who had actual knowledge of Trump's actions in the month leading up to Jan. 6.
The committee released a Final Report, which included "criminal referrals."
The charges against Trump… appear identical to the charges in the criminal referrals.
So, I don't buy Hutchinson's theory that the DoJ had a timeline for these charges. After the Final committee Report was sent to the DoJ, they investigated those specific charges. And this indictment came after there was enough time to do that.
Hutchinson knew this question was coming and his answer was uninformed and a smear against the legal system.
