Again, a teen, not even old enough to have a serious criminal record mows down unsuspecting people. Crime is rising not so much by established criminal elements but an an armed population, the good and the bad. People who can't be trusted with a slingshot are fingering triggers all around us. Mentally well adjusted responsible 'good guys' can only respond after the fact if they are even around at the time. Laws about gun ownership and open carry are so relaxed (in Texas no license, permit or certification necessary for open carry even on campuses) they might as well have gun dispensers..

Only reason this is even news is because there were 2 police officers involved.
Say proper good bye to your kids when they are leaving for the school in the morning. Say a proper good bye if you are going out for grocery or taking a walk. You never know whether you get a chance to see them again. This mass shooting is so normal now. You are lucky if you and your loved once are back on the dinner table. US is a safe country. The Parkland shooter. Just got life without the possibility of parole. He's 24 years old. He could possibly live to be a hundred years old. The families of the victims he killed. And the tax payers. Will be paying for his well being. For as long as he lives. Despicable.
