Why are developers allowed to infringe on koala habitat, too? The drought and brush fire casualties were devastating enough. Doesn't sound like those in charge are very serious about saving them. Too sad.

I remember that terrible fire a couple years ago that Australia was going through I know that had to do with a lot of the koalas being relocated and many died from the fires and smoke inhalation. Hopefully they won't stay on the list that long

Yes our government has done that, but they don't say is it's due to the liberals/government and their bad environment policies it's only taking them four years. They have cleaned some of their only habits, by "mistake" when they got in to office they sacked all the land management ppl, Friendlyjordes an Australian YouTuber has done many in-depth researched reports on them.
