  1. As a cricket fan i always wanted west indies to retain their former glory as a top cricketing nation. And this match might be the starting point of it. These players reminded me of 1983 wc story where kapil dev and his team won the world cup when everyone was underestimating them. Same feeling i got now watching this, West Indies are coming back to take there thrown everybody watch out for them in t20 wc.

  2. Shamar Joseph remember the name

  11. Aussie here. Upset we lost, but even more so glad the West Indies are back. Loss for my team, but a win for test cricket. I'm really stoked they have the fire in them. The game is better for it.

  12. Shamar Joseph's magical spell and Ian Smith's commentary made this test match phenomenal . Remember the name Shemar Joseph . That's is Test cricket at its best .

  13. As a WI cricket fan going back to the 70s, 80s, 90s up to today. It is fantastic to see the passion & the will to win returned with a very inexperience team.

Take a bow Shamar Joseph for the way you rattled the Australuans with his bad toe & will to win it for his team at their own fortress.

W.I. cricket team & cricket lovers has been in the doldroms for a long long time & seen many false dawns.

Therefore ! Lets cherish the moment for this exceptional win and hope that West Indies will get the support from the body of world cricket. That could make us competive and not loose our best up & coming tallent to franchise cricket around the world.

Steve Smith did a fatastic job for his team, but once he had given the strike to Hazelwood, the door was open for a W.I. win with the ball in the hand of MOTM Shamar Joseph.
Forward & Upwards West Indies as we dream of a consistient competive team.

  16. As a South African – I can honestly say that West Indies is the most exciting team to watch – it was not the same without them in the World Cup and I am so happy for them – what a team!! Australia played hard but Joseph came to win. Amazing match overall!
