Avalanche survivor says ‘no doubt’ he thought he would die



Snowboarder Jason Parker fought for survival when the snow seemed to turn into a river of white around him. A winter storm brought heavy snow to the Sierras and caused an avalanche at Palisades Tahoe resort, where Parker was making his way down the slopes. NBC News’ Maggie Vespa has more on his incredible rescue.

  5. I've been through three avalanches in my time and this is probably one of the the worst I thought I was going to go to
