Update:. Two weeks later, the man seen helping this shark had his arm bitten off by the same shark while he was swimming. He later died from blood loss at the hospital.

I’m by no means an animal expert but I’ve seen my fair share of animal programs growing up and I can tell right away that ain’t no great white shark, it’s a mako shark.

Guys: fish gills breathe forwards or backwards you can take a trout and pull it back in the water to breathe
Shark gills only work going forwards you have to push them in the direction of their mouthes first to breathe if you yank them backwards they can’t breathe. It won’t help wake em up or get them moving it’s actually the #1 way to hunt sharks by grabbing the tail and just pulling them to shore with rope/hands. As they can’t swim forward and they can breathe
