My condolences go out to the zookeepers. They cared for that bear for long time.
What would be a zoo in florida, that only has their domestic animals for display. Guess Iām sad the person who was attacked was not killed.
"Johnny an American black bear 'got out' of his enclosure and engaged with a zookeeper". Yeah right… Translation: Some lazy zookeeper didn't FOLLOW PROPER SAFETY PROCEDURES by 1st securely confining and then double checking the animal was indeed LOCKED inside his pen BEFORE entering the bear's enclosure. Human screws up. Bear dies.

I've had encounters with two different wild black bears…..they both ran off. The fact this bear was going after someone……what were those people doing to that bear?
Hey,just like the wildlife team shot a momma bear because she scraped some ladies leg in her yard. So wildlife people tracked this non threatening bear down,shot her and killed her then took her babies from her! Two cubs,taken from their mother at under 6 months old. And put into a wildlife facility……….wtf.
