See Japan ,Korea only have very less population but richer than india . its about consumption & education technology advancement, that what china becomes richer.

Quality of the population is more necessary than quantity. China has both, but it’s not like India doesn’t have it. It might not be like China level but rapid digitization, infrastructure growth, sanitation, and literacy rates shows the country is moving in the right direction. India still has many problems, but I believe that the country has the capability and the mindset to make things better. What india needs to focus on the most is pollution, most importantly air pollution.
