Every single problem you have outlined can be traced back to the Republican/Trump administration.Trump appointed J. Powell to head up the Federal Reserve. In 2020 the Federal Reserve dropped the interest rates nearly to zero along with pumping $700 BILLION QE into the economy. With the usual 18 mo lag, inflation sky-rocketed just in time for Fox News and the Republicans to blame it on the Biden. Now J. Powell is having to raise the interest rates in order to combat the inflation he caused during the Trump administration. Unfortunately, we have to wait another 18 mo. for our behemoth economy to dis-inflate. He may even force the economy into recession by pushing rates up to high and fast. We are still suffering from Trump's bad judgment in appointing Powell.
