ALL THREE GRADUATED WITH THE SAME DEGREE IN NURSING. THE ONE BAWLS AND SQUALS ABOUT HER DEBT…THE OTHER TWO JUST SMILE. MY GRANDSON WENT INTO THE ARMY AND SPENT FOUR YEARS IN AFGHANISTAN TO PAY HIS WAY THROUGH A COMMUNITY..HE HAS A DEGREE IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING. Many of us worked multiple jobs to pay for college and loans. I think this is a terrible idea: typical for a Biden administration decision.
$10 is an okay start, for me personally that would erase about half of my student debt, while for others $10k bay not even make a debt. While $50k would be fantastic, I would rather than the $10k plan gets passed now, and later try to get the $50k debt forgiveness to pass. That's because democrats fighting among themselves doesn't pass or help with anything and it could leave us with no debt forgiveness in the end because no one can agree on a number.

As someone who is 40 and paid off my loans early by sacrificing vacations, buying a more expensive car, not going out to eat it is disgusting I now have to pay for other who chose to enjoy those things. More importantly why is a 45 year old single mom who has kids and makes 50k a year have to pay money to help pay off a single 20 something student loan who makes 6 figures???? Isn’t funny the stimulus cap was 75k individual and 150k married, yet this student loan one is 125 individual and 250k married….this is exactly why it’s not for the poor. If they said it was for anyone making under 40k or 50k a year then people wouldn’t have a problem with it

Those complaining student debt today should be forgiven or lowered is fair because Fanny Mae Freddy Mac and Board of Education started this outrageous interest rate fiasco on student loans at 30-50%. Those in the 1990’s and before never experienced this illegal act by feds so you Morons who are not experiencing these loan shark mobster interest rates by Federal govt. for Congress 401k and retirement money – stop bitchn’. Many students became ill, got cancer, teachers abusing them throwing out of their classes for no reason other than teacher was hateful to that person so now their stuck with a bill and no class this was common. Changing an already required course- forcing a graduate to take 3 more added courses out of the blue, car accidents making a student leave due to no car and injuries, family deaths forcing them to relocate, etc…. Took medical leave only to be told in 2000’s colleges univ. went paperless and lost all their data so no proof of health reasons for leaving school, so stuck with loans that were 10,000$ in a few years their loans they are not using are 30,000$ because of federal interest not the banks federal interest telling banks to implement ungodly charges.
