The Supreme Court thinks that by ruling against Affirmative Action that people will end up blaming Biden for the failure of the student relief bill when, in reality, the Supreme Court is to blame. They think that this ruling will lead to people voting for a Republican in the next election. People are aware that The Supreme Court is a rogue court and that they DELIBERATELY MISINTERPRET THE LAW IN ORDER TO GIVE REPUBLICANS AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE and a lot of people know EXACTLY what is going on. We’re not stupid. Biden said that he would pass an infrastructure bill and he did. He’s trying to do everything he said he would do especially when it comes to diversity. His appointee in the Supreme Court is proof. You’re not going to get a better President. Trump promised to build a wall and pass an infrastructure bill and FAILED in both areas. Trump is partly to blame for the Fern Hollow Bridge collapsing in Pittsburgh and for the deregulation of the railroads which led to that fire that involved trains in Ohio. Even John McCain didn’t care too much for Trump. The Republicans want you to believe that Affirmative Action is a “free pass” and favours unqualified minorities at the expense of a qualified majority. That’s not the case but Republicans and people who make their idiotic comments on here will have you believe otherwise. We can’t rely on authority figures like the Supreme Court justices to do the right thing because they’re biased sellouts. WE have to make things happen as a country and not rely on them. WE have to rely on OURSELVES and make affirmative action and diversity a priority.
Give everyone a fair shot? When is Caucasian Heritage Month? I think your fair shot means affirmative action to your target voters. Oh, I discriminate against incompetent mumblers in chief.

The purpose of Affirmative Action is to give QUALIFIED MINORITIES a chance to succeed. It DOES NOT give minorities a “FREE PASS” like the Supreme Court Justices and others would have you believe. I don’t believe that you should admit a minority over ANY person who is more qualified. With that being said, the problem worldwide, is that QUALIFIED applicants that are MINORITIES are being denied admission into the universities, just because of their race and that’s not right. The Supreme Court justices know this, which is why they ruled against affirmative-action. They don’t want diversity in schools. Their intention is to get “THEIR OWN” people in there they’re going to do what they want to do, which is to oppress the general population like they’re trying to do now.
Our educational system is all messed up. A belief that merit is the ticket to admission is a fallacy. Money is the driver.

Meet standards?. A friend of mine got into a certain program and I didn't ( initially) And he was flunking some of his courses and doing poorly in others. I was helping/ tutoring him. He didn't even have all prerequisites completed let alone volunteer hours with a physician needed. He got in and I got rejected in the same week.. He couldn't understand it, i didnt understand it…at the time. We didn't know about a firmative action back then. Good luck, Joe In debating this one..
