If we aren’t going to impose term limits and restrictions on the Legislative branch when they.leave office I’m for abandoning the governance of the people by humans and giving artificial intelligence (AI) a try. Program in our Constitution, Bill of Rights, Amendments and all the precedent setting legal decisions to date and have a trial period where we let AI make decisions on legislation and Supreme Court rulings in parallel to human decisions on the same things. Say five years. After that let the voters compare the decisions made by AI to human beings and then we vote on whether we want to be governed by AI or human beings. After living through all the crookedness since Richard Nixon I think I pretty much know which of the two would govern us better. Just think of the dollar savings alone with no more campaigning and no more salaries for Congressmen, Senators, Supreme Court justices and the like?!
