Exactly, what about my student loan debt that I repaid? What about families that paid the bill for their kids to go to college? This plan is ridiculous. They need to do something about the price of education like others have said.

So back in 2016 we made the concept of "Free "Student Loan Forgiveness" a political battleground but it not really a spectacular concept of Americans subsidizing other Americans. Imagine saying you rent an apartment so your taxpayers dollars should not help people pay their mortgages. They should downsize and sell their home. That those home owning elites have an asset in their home and your tax dollars are allowing them to keep an investment which leads to further generational wealth.
Ok so what about anyone who still needs to get an education they’re gonna be stuck with the full bill?

I paid my way thru sevens years of university, earning two degrees, by working and being careful about expenditures. I drove the same car for 13 years, rented cheap apartments, and put my pay checks in the bank. Where's my handout? We've become a culture of self-entitled whiners, and let's not forget the self-entitled privileged class, the 10 % that has 75% of all the wealth.
Seems more like a bank bail out than helping the borrowers. If the borrower can not pay the full amount or attempt to then it only hurts their credit score which is probably bad already.
