The news reporting on the origin of COVID is shifting faster than the facts of the case. It is NOT a case of two sides divided evenly down the middle. Two agencies have stated with low confidence that it resulted from a lab leak. FOUR say it more likely was the result of natural transmission. Two more favor neither theory. Recent studies, on the other hand, seem to support natural transmission. NOBODY HAS DISMISSED EITHER POSSIBILITY.
Will people around the world still care about its origin ?

Facts and objectivity are some of the primary things to observe when investigating something complicated such as the origin of Covid-19.
Investigations on the origin of Covid-19 should be carried out by WHO not only in China, but also in USA and other countries such as Europe that also have records of Covid-19 like disease occurrences prior to the Wuhan outbreak.
Finding the real origin of the Covid-19 virus is actually more complicated. There are other incidences that occurred and also had been noted, but downplayed prior to the Wuhan incidence. It is like searching a needle in haystack that is not even known in location.
Covid-19 pandemic did cause much suffering and ķilled many people in USA, but it wouldn't help to panic or blame its root cause to a particular group of people. Encouraging racism against Asian ethnicities in the USA is just scapegoat from taking responsibility of the besetting trouble.

A question can be posed like "If SARS-COV-2 originated in Wuhan then why did China only got very less people contracted as compared to the USA?" Note that China has much more people than USA, their average density of people is much greater than that of USA. How come they contracted less than the people of USA?
China was able to identify a new virus and it proceeded rightaway to isolate those who contracted it. USA on the other hand may have had already the virus spread wide, but kept those incidence treated as some kind of pneumonia, flu, or other known diseases.
