Whatever great plans this administration has, will take years, if not decades to come to fruition. I doubt that Biden would make much of an impact on the current inflation situation. What he is advocating is akin to telling a dying patient that regular exercise and a healthy diet will add 20 years to his life. America is not quite on death throes, but if one would be kidding oneself to think that the current state of economy is very healthy.
America prides itself as a shinning beacon of democracy light shone over the world. But it is precisely that is making America slow moving to prosecute a new policy. And don't forget that each administration only has 4 years. There is no guarantee that it will get another 4. A new administration will more than likely to want to put its own stamp on anything, and it will chop and change anything inherited from its predecessor.
What America is experiencing is a systemic problem brought on by its policies and actions. The decline of its manufacturing sector, thanks to strong U$ which renders US products more expensive. And not to forget the many wars which steadily deplete its coffers. The many wars means politicians wasted much time and efforts away from domestic issues such as what Biden is trying to focus on now. I am afraid it is a bit late, Joe.
