The Republicans and the Trump Administration caused inflation? First they LOWERED the taxes for the 1% and large corporations. Look out below, some poor guy has to pay the bill! This caused a $7,000,000,000,000 US deficit. Then Trump appointed J. Powell to head the Federal Reserve Board. In 2020 Powell and the Federal Reserve dropped the interest rates nearly to zero along with pumping $700,000,000,000 QE into the economy. With the a normal 18 month lag, inflation pole vaulted just in time for Fox News and the Republicans to blame it on the Democrats. History will not let the Republicans off the hook so easily.
