A fierce debate over fairness is occurring after President Biden announced the government will erase $10,000 in federal student loans for those making less than $125,000. Republicans and moderate Democrats are very critical of the decision, while some progressives wanted him to go further. There are still questions over how Biden’s announcement will impact inflation, while a non partisan group says it will cost taxpayers $500 billion.

NBC, why don't you cover members of Congress who had millions of dollars forgiven for PPP loans? Good on Joe for helping the students.
Student debt is not about irresponsible young people taking out more loans than they'll be able to pay back.
It's about a corruption cycle between loan companies, lobbyists, and our lawmakers, designed to make them rich and powerful — AT YOUR EXPENSE.
Dude and his wife are realizing they should've used the system.
As a result of Trump's tariff fiasco, who bailed out the Midwest farmers?
A trillion dollar student loan debt crisis doesn't stem from a bunch of student freeloaders. It's a result of predatory lending practices resembling the usury of payday loans as well as the junk mortgage fiasco of the early 2000's. And if it's okay for banks and corporations to get pandemic loan forgiveness, why is it not okay for anyone else?
Don't these youth that are looking for Student Loan Debt "Forgivness", realize that they, and their children, will be on the HOOK for HUGE future Income Tax Increases?
The debt still exists just the BURDEN of paying back the Student Loans will be on future taxpayers, (Themselves, their children, their Grand Children)
Nobody gets a free lunch…I thought these College Students had at least…some brains.
The responsibility for the repayment of College Students loans should fall on the Colleges and Universities! These educational institutions marketed their educational product to the public, advertised their price for the product, and accepted the applicants that applied for the educational product…therefore THEY should be responsible for Student's debts in default and unpaid…not the taxpaying American Public!
surprise… surprise…
BANKSTER$ WIN AGAIN.
This is the Fed printing money & giving it to it's cartel banks who hold all the paper on these gender studies degrees… simple as. So many layers to this scam! Did you pay your loans back??? Ha ha suka! Now go pay some taxes… hate to see those 87,000 new IRS agents digging through your garbage can!
⚠️ 2000 MULES ⚠️
Up yours Biden. Everyone who paid off their own debts now gets to pay off some deadbeat losers debt as well.
We are in a rent gouging crises and corrupt democrats are trying to buy mid terms by making tax payers pay off other peoples debt..
Democrat corruption at it's finest! Wealth redistribution for votes. Biden is soooooo corrupt!
What to do about the USA? If More than the Trillion was towards warfare, now that you have no extra surplus, would you finally be allowed to have something nice. Really we all are "Human" "Beings" Though I see a picture of 5;43 4 Days ago, and think eww. Yeah what the Templars did to the Isralites, every single one that is alive today, is a truthful horrid. So far we have lost 30 minor civlizations, and at even earlier, thousands of genuine diverse genetic traits and social cultures. Nope, still hate templars with an extreme passion. America also. Least im trying. Yeah humans are exactly as they are. Yeah, maybe they missed the invitation of religion. Really horrible people.
To be a person who actively seeks to destroy and take another life. To be a person who expirances the loss of life from someone elses desires and wants upon another. Life that is requested naturally, even it being the most painful ever. Maybe I would just want to be happy.
Was rome bad? Even for a person, to have vengance against a tryant who still in active war against. hmm. Lots of people probably furthered their education, went back to school, furthered into fields needed. To boost your quality of living, of the people itself. Would you want something to have, something to see, and also a good outlook towards your better job, and they know they can retire soundly.
Didn’t hear any one complain when they gave rich business owners PPP money then forgave it.
This working American has just about had it with the rich in this country. It’s time for a revolution, time for a government controlled by working Americans.
R and A, adjusts the scales very slightly, no noticeable change. EU is back up and going again. Hopefully they will knowingly ban their romans for good. But, not ever since flags and industrialization. Every time there has been a horrible upon yours thing, it has always been defeated, and put into its original place it belongs to. No difference to you, no matter how ever clever and devious the United States of America may feel it has been. Ow stop that it hurts. Genuinely it does, and im sure most people trying does as well. Even if the entire world trips and falls upon numb words, and stories fall short of anything it could have been or really is. To think it has. Perplexing to think, is it something I am forseeing, or is it mixing together, in so much confusion, or am I just slightly along for it, and unable to cope with its feeling it is being harmed with. Plz remember the other 10-30 thousand years, maybe more if you got it. Italy your cool too. Same with the bad actors not involved with Ameka. Feels good it may be solved. Good Samaritan is also a good movie 😛
Feminists/degree ninjas: I’m strong and independent. I don’t need no man. I am the table.
Also feminists/degree ninjas: I’m student loan broke. The patriarchy needs to bail me out…
I'm mad bc disability people got thier student loan erased temporary and have to wait 3 years.
And others don't
No where to run now Joe, this articles show's just how corrupt Joe is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZC0TuH3u7TA
The FBI, headed by Biden, Pelosi, Obama and Clintons are a bunch of losers. The more they push the more obvious and desperate they expose themselves and the democrats are so weak. Lets make sure the Nazi regime of the Democrats never win office again: Vote:DeSantis / Vote:Trump
Why is this a happy day, all he said is he had a plan. He didn't sign anything, and even Pelosi said he has to go thru congress.
Former US president Donald Trump is being presented in outdated appearances and quoted speech in media presentations as he is no longer permitted outside of the prison that he is serving detention at. His participation in the mid term elections and coverup media presentations can no longer be sustained in a convincing way to the public while permanently confined to a United States prison complex.

Congratulations Joe & Kamala.
Will those who worked hard to pay off their student loan get their money back?
Definitely NOT FAIR
It's outrageous that students get loan forgiveness but it was totally fine when Trump was giving bailouts to farmers who lost money because of his trade tariffs or when the automakers and banks got bailouts when they were facing bankruptcy.
There should be a requirement to volunteer for a community program (homeless shelter, food bank, youth support, animal shelter, etc.) to receive any debt relief.
“The President doesn’t have the power to forgive student debt. That has to be an act of congress.” — Nancy Pelosi
They need to make all corporations pay for the student loans
THAT'S JOE'S PLAN, NOT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE COME JAN, JOE GETTING IMPEACHED

From 90-400 BILLION a year, every year for the US Military ($801 Billion in 2021)
I think we can afford to give college students a break from profit rich Corporate American Universities.
