The airing of the documentary " The Whole story" by CNN just before Title 42 expired may have had something to do with the unexpected drop in the wave of migrants poised to storm the border. It has been said that " A picture is worth a thousand words" Those migrants or many of them have cell phones and able to communicate with relatives back home. Once you have undertaken the perilous journey through the Jungle to get to the US border, there is no turning back. I am sure many of them have regretted it and have fallen to the LIES of the Human Smugglers / the Cartels that it would be a Cake Walk and two day journey to the border , after which they can turn themselves in and a comfortable Abbot/ Desantis Bus ride await them to take them to wherever they want in the USA. Who wants to be slipping and sliding in filthy mud and rough terrain in the Jungle with no guarantee that you would not be turned back and deported to wherever you came from. ? ' Unfortunately or fortunately" the TRUTH is sinking in but only after the Smugglers have taken them for most of their meagre savings leaving them with little or nothing to cope with the uncertain FUTURE ahead. A very SAD situation indeed.
